Current Project

We are currently developing a performance for a Continuous Personal Development Day at Stoke on Trent College for local services such as Probation and other support services.

Past Projects

  • ‘Laura’ 2013, performed at the Regent Theatre as part of the Stoke College React Project. This play aims to raise awareness around the pitfalls of Door Stop Lending and alcohol abuse. Originally performed in 2006 at Manchester Metropolitan University for Wulvern Housings Groups AGM.
  • ‘Stoppard and Beckett’ 2013, performed at Newcastle Under Lyme College and in 2011 at The Sandbach Methodist Church Hall. This is a comedy exploring the human condition.
  • ‘Nick’ 2012, An adaptation of ‘Laura’, focused upon the vulnerability of an individual with learning difficulties to highlight the ways in which people can be exploited. This was performed for Aspire Housings Disability Awareness Event at Newcastle College.
  • ‘Vicky’ 2012, a sensitive look at the impact of Mental Health issues upon individuals and their families performed at the Stoke on Trent Victoria Hall.
  • ‘Gemma’ 2011, performed at Jude Theatre Company’s Showcase looking at the difficulties people experience when borrowing money from ‘Loan Sharks’.


Formally established in 2011, Jude’s Applied Actors have gone from strength to strength achieving it’s original aim of allowing local artists to have an impact upon their community, develop and maintain their professional skills and network.


Stage Fright

Stage Fright Drama Group is an adult group based at Ellesmere Port Fire Station, Wellington Road, CH65 0EZ. They meet every Thursday evening from 7.00pm and receive tuition from Jude Theatre Company Artists who have supported this fantastic group since it’s beginnings in 2010.

Many of their members had never appeared on stage before but have quickly developed a passion for theatre as well as having lots of fun and making new friends.

Friends for Leisure Drama

Friends For Leisure Drama Group is a FREE charity run group aimed at supporting young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Cheshire East to enjoy friendships and leisure activities.

Held Monday evening from 7-8.30pm during term time at Fallibroome Academy, Priory Lane, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK10 4AF.

Sandbach Youth Theatre

Part of the Cheshire East Youth Theatre, Sandbach Youth Theatre is taught by Jude Theatre Company every Thursday evening 5-6.30pm during term time. The group is aimed at 7-11 year olds and meet at Union Street Community Hall, Sandbach, CW11 4BG

A great Community run group in Wistaston, Cheshire Jude Theatre Company Artists taught between 2008-2011.

Crewe Lyceum Youth and Adult Groups

Part of the Cheshire East Youth Theatre, Jude Theatre Company has been involved with teaching at the Crewe Lyceum since its begins in 2008. Jude Theatre ceased facilitating a group in 2011 but have returned on a number of occasions for projects and to support the work of this great organisation.
