Performance
Aim: To represent what we do in our normal drama workshops to the public and explain some of the theory
behind it. We selected four of our favourite exercises to share, each one showed a glimpse of the stages we go through in
our workshops e.g. warming up vocally and imaginatively.
The performance was a great success with the young people demonstrating the confidence
needed to stand up, show their art form and be themselves in front of an audience. We also managed to get the spectators to
join in on some of the exercises which meant that all the different generations were performing together, led by the young
people. It was a very rewarding experience and one that benefited the local community in which the group is situated and the
members of the youth theatre, because it enabled them to see that what we do in our workshops is up to
performance standard.
Our next performance is: In the Auturm Term
